Health Care Center Building Completion

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a fully equipped Primary Health Care Center in Kakani Village. Designed to serve over 500 households in the community,this facility marks a significant step towards accessible and inclusive healthcare for locals. The health center offers a comprehensive range of basic health services, including General Physical Examinations, Maternal and Child Health Check ups, First Aid and Emergency Care, Health Counseling and Education by government  health personal.

The Mother and Children Art Foundation (MCAF) has stepped in with life-saving interventions to address these urgent needs. With the support of our partner organizations and compassionate volunteers, we regularly organize:

1. Provide accessible and affordable primary health services.

2. Reduce the maternal and child mortality rate through quality maternal care.

3. Offer preventive care, immunizations, and basic diagnostics.

Community Participation

Transporting materials due to hilly terrain

Materials were delivered in stages using local Trucks and manual carriers

Budget shortfall during the equipment installation  phase.

Additional NPR 0.5 million raised from the EXPLOR-A.

Conclusion & Future Plans

The Kakani Primary Health Care Facility now operates with full basic services and certified health workers. Additional services such as ANC clinics and health education programs will be introduced in upcoming phases. Solar power backup and telemedicine capability are proposed for 2026

Declaration of Completion

If this project is successful, the school will begin offering grades 11 and 12 immediately after the new building is completed. They have already received government approval for this upgrade, contingent upon their ability to manage classrooms and provide the necessary educational resources. The estimated cost for constructing this new school building is NPR. 12,733,288.48 (USD 96,000.00), based on government budget standards. (Source: Total Cost Estimate of Civil Works).
