Relief Distribution in Thalo, Sindhupalchok

On the 7th May 2015, our team once again visited Thalo in Sindhupalchok, very isolated village (our targeted village of reconstruction into the future) with more relief supplies- food, tents, sleeping bags, mattress, tarpaulins, solar panels, first aid kit and some tools to make temporary shelters. We helped them to fix the tents and solar panels. Our team took a tour around the village to observe post earthquake situation and had a general meeting with the villagers about the short term and long-term plan. It was great to see all the villagers are very much cooperate to each other at this difficult period. We coordinated to form a ‘Thalo Reconstruction Committee’ of 15 members to work efficiently and effectively for the village.
We hope to get continual support from our friends and well-wishers to make our community better and stronger from this devastated stage soon.
Thank you very much.
