Students Relief Pack Distribution at Nabingram Secondary School, Nanglebare

12th August 2015, continuing our “Students Relief Pack Distribution” in schools of the most affected regions by recent quake, MCAF team distributed this pack to 249 students of our partnership school, Shree Nabingram Secondary School, Nanglebare, which includes school bag filled with stationeries, lunch box, water bottle and uniform.
MCAF has partnership with this school since 3 years in developing infrastructures and education standard there. Again, it’s our absolute pleasure visiting this school with students’ relief supplies at this crucial time. The school management committee and Naglebare Community were much thankful for our relief support. We believe our relief support has brought back at least a little smile in the faces of the innocent students whose smiles were taken away by the devastating earthquake.
Most of the school buildings are found safe despite one was severely destroyed. So the school has built 3 Temporary Learning Centers (TLC) as to run all the classes normally. All the surrounding villages were completely destroyed by the devastation. The villagers are seen living in very basic temporary houses built after the devastation took place.
This Nanglebare community and the Shree Nabingram Secondary School are in desperate need of help to recover from the invaluable losses by the devastation. We hope to visit again in the near future with more support.
Thank you.
