Health Camp
Health facilities in Nepal is really poor in rural villages and towns. Nepal government could not have managed hospitals and proper health posts. Every year many people die with minor diseases in the lack of medical facilities and awareness.
So as to help provide health facilities in such communities MCAF occassionally conducts free health camps and health awareness programs with the help of our partnership organisations and volunteers.
After the devastating earthquake which hit Nepal in April 2015, our serious concern in the sanitation in rural villages where they do not have proper homes, kitchens, toilets and water facilities due to the recent devastation. There is a high chance of disease and infection in these villages due to poor sanitation and lack of medical treatment facilities.
Every year during the monsoon, Nepal has a very bad record of simple diseases like influenza and diarrhea, both of which take many lives in the rural villages.
