Health Care Center Building Completion

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a fully equipped primary health care center in Kakani Village. Designed to serve over 500 households in the community, this facility marks a significant step towards accessible and inclusive healthcare for locals. The health center offers comprehensive basic health services, including general physical examinations, maternal and child health checkups, first aid and emergency care, and health counseling and education by government health personnel.

Objectives

1. Provide accessible and affordable primary health services.

2. Reduce the maternal and child mortality rate through quality maternal care.

3. Offer preventive care, immunizations, and basic diagnostics.

Building Infrastructure

Reception & Waiting Area	Furnished with seating for 15+, information desk, fan, and wall displays.
Outpatient Department	One consultation room, equipped with desks, chairs, and patient beds.
Emergency/Minor Procedure Room	Basic emergency two treatment bed, IV stand, and dressing. materials
Maternity Room	One delivery bed and emergency delivery kit.
Pharmacy Room	Secure storage cabinet, refrigerator for vaccines and. temperature sensitive drugs
Toilet Facilities	One inside the building and one outside accessible for the patients and visitors.

Community Participation

2. Labor Support: Over 250 volunteers and 130 paid skilled workers.

Challenges Faced & Solutions

Conclusion & Future Plans

The Kakani Primary Health Care Facility now operates with full basic services and certified health workers. Additional services such as ANC clinics and health education programs will be introduced in upcoming phases. Solar power backup and telemedicine capability are proposed for 2026.

Decleration of Completion

We take great pleasure in declaring that the completed Kakani Community Primary Health Care Center has been thoroughly inspected and approved by the concerned government authorities and local government representatives, and community people. On 15^th November 2023, we officially handed over the health care center to Kakani Rural Municipality Ward No. 5 Chairperson Mr. Buddha Raj Lama for smooth running and serving the local communities with health services.
